Before we go, I wanna give a shout out to the real worker bees in this country - That's right, Bees! There’s a program called, “Feed a Bee” that's making a difference. Did you know that bees (and other pollinators like butterflies) work tirelessly each day to bring many of our favorite foods to life, including fruits, nuts, and vegetables? Though they work hard to support our food supply, they’re facing a food shortage of their own.
Here’s how you can help! The Feed a Bee program works with individuals and organizations across the country who are passionate about pollinators, with the goal of planting wildflowers and other types of forage (that’s food) for our fuzzy friends.
Want to do your part? Join the nearly 1 million people who are already helping to feed the bees at FeedABee.com or by using #FeedABee.
Feed a Bee is a major initiative of the Bayer North American Bee Care Program to increase food and habitat for bees and other pollinators by planting wildflowers and establishing additional forage acreage across the United States. To date, with the support of nearly 1 million people around the country and more than 122 cross-industry partner organizations, Feed a Bee has distributed wildflowers coast to coast to create more forage for honey bees and other pollinators. Planting more flowers and other pollinator-attractant plants is something everyone can do to help.
