Lisa Price, the founder of Carol's Daughter, has spent the last 26 years building a natural hair care and beauty brand empire. Motivated by her mother, Carol, Lisa, took her brand from the kitchen to the shelves of stores across the country.
Lisa Price is a powerhouse in the natural hair movement - however, her extraordinary success had very humble beginnings.
"When I think about growing up in Brooklyn with my mom, It's always time with family and its always time in the kitchen says Lisa, "The kitchen wasn't all about eating, its where we gathered as a family."
It was in the kitchen where Lisa started to experiment with body butter, creams and lotions. In 1993, Lisa's mom encouraged her to actually sell the things she was making in the kitchen, just for fun.

Black Vanilla Conditioner
It all kind of started with this one product. This is a great conditioner to untangle your hair and adds moisture. It's made with sage, shea butter, and vanilla bean.
This one is a "refresher" spray that revives your curls after a nap or a good night's sleep! It has aloe, apricot and sunflower oil. Lisa created this initially for her own hair, seeking a level of moisture that she couldn't find in stores.
