STEVE’s Straight Talk features an all-female panel of strong, successful women, giving their insight on hot love, dating, and relationship topics along with Steve Harvey, who provides a male’s perspective. The panel always makes for interesting conversation and sometimes, things get heated—not only for the panelists, but for the audience, too. Here are the top five most controversial topics talked about on STEVE’s Straight Talk panel:
Is It Worse To Cheat Or To Lie About It?
Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Knight Pulliam and Bridget Kelly held nothing back when asked this intense question by Steve Harvey. With their strong belief that nothing is worse than a man who lies to your face, Steve Harvey joked, “I’m gonna need some scotch in my glass ‘cause this is not goin’ the way I thought the conversation was gonna happen.” For their thoughts on this topic and more, check out the clip.
Paul’s Obsession With Underwear Is Ruining His Marriage
Audience members Clara and Paul asked Steve Harvey, Garcelle Beauvais, Catt Sadler, Evelyn Lozada, and Brooke Burke for advice on how to best deal with Paul’s obsession with underwear, since it has created such a divide in their marriage and family. “I’m kinda used to doin’ what I wanna do,” says Paul, “I just like lookin’ good when I go out. I know it’s a selfish thing.” Steve Harvey, worked up and upset with lack of household contribution and family connection, responded, “This is out of balance ‘cause of this dude.” Catt Sadler, on the other hand, shared, “You think this momentary feeling of ‘fresh’ is going to make you feel better about yourself and… it’s temporary.” This issue is deeper than just underwear, ladies and gentlemen. See for yourself.
Steve Harvey Confronts Man In Audience Who Is Unfaithful To Girlfriend
Steve Harvey, Keri Hilson, Siggy Flicker, Carrie Keagan, and Garcelle Beauvais are asked by a woman in the audience for advice on how to get her boyfriend to realize that his infidelity is wrong and must end. After several excuses and lame answers, Steve Harvey and his panel couldn’t hold back. “You have to love yourself more than you love him.” Preach, Garcelle! Check out what Steve Harvey has to say about this man, his age, and his legacy. It gets intense, people.
Would You Date A Man With No Job?
When asked about this hot topic, Carrie Keagan shared her belief that as long as a man has goals, a job isn’t a must. Keri Hilson, Siggy Flicker, and Garcelle Beauvais, on the other hand, believe otherwise. “Women are attracted to ambitious men,” Siggy says, “Show me that you’re moving.” But Carrie brought up another good point: What about a woman’s independence? The others, including Steve Harvey, agreed that regardless of a woman’s abilities, a man should be ready to take care of his lady and their family. “The sexiest thing a guy can say is, ‘I got you, babe,’” Garcelle added. Whatever side of the fence you stand on, this debate is a must see.
Is It Okay To Fake It In Bed?
This topic created three teams: Team Garcelle Beauvais and Evelyn Lozada, who believe that it’s okay to fake it in bed because sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do; Team Catt Sadler and Brooke Burke, who believe that being honest about your sex life will lead to better pleasure all around, and result in never having to fake a reaction; and Team Steve Harvey, who believes that it doesn’t matter either way. “If you fake it, lie to me. I’m cool.” Whew! Talk about a debate! Whose team are you on?
