BROOKEandSTEVE.com web site, photo gallery, and video podcast

Family Fun.

Initially conceived as a wedding web site for their 2003 wedding, BROOKEandSTEVE.com has evolved into a way to share pictures, movies, and more with family and friends "near, but not here."

The home page uses Flash to highlight particular photos, movies, or features of the site.

The picture gallery is powered by the aptly named Gallery 2 open-sourced software (built on PHP and MySQL). Steve created a highly-customized template and modified some of the core program to accomplish his design and functionality goals.

Steve also makes a video podcast available to easily distribute short home movies. These movies are created using Apple's iMovie or Final Cut Express software.

Many of Steve's sites utilize a Contact Us form, and BROOKEandSTEVE.com is no exception. Using the open-sourced Soupermail Perl script, Steve captures visitor input to a log file and spreadsheet, and sends e-mails to multiple recipients.
